Biography

Mustafa Hammad, MD, DO, DABIPP, DIPP, CPI, ABRM, FACP, FAAN · United States citizen

Dr. Hammad completed foundational science training at the University of Pittsburgh (BS Neuroscience, summa cum laude), followed by the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and University Health Sciences (MD). He pursued internship and a combined neurology and internal medicine residency at SUNY Stony Brook, serving as an assistant clinical instructor, then completed a fellowship at Emory University focused on neuromuscular disease, clinical neurophysiology, nerve and muscle pathology, with added sleep medicine exposure.

His early attending career included the Atlanta VA and longitudinal community neurology and interventional pain leadership in Panama City, Florida, including stroke program direction, CME leadership, and founding roles in research organizations. He later expanded footprint to Palestine as founder, CEO, and medical director of Allmed Medical Center and Hammad Neurologic Center, Dubai as consultant neurologist and interventional pain specialist (including Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Center, March 2025–April 2026, and prior private workplace roles), and ongoing United States leadership through the American Medical Institute (founder, CEO, and principal investigator; Stockbridge, Georgia, and Ramallah) and as chair of the institutional review board at Global Research Holdings (November 2025–present).

He has held academic appointments including assistant professor of neurology and director of the clinical research unit at Hebron University School of Medicine (July 2022–December 2023), clinical assistant professor at Chatham University (July 2013–2019), and today serves as clinical instructor at Birzeit University School of Pharmacy (2025–present). He continues community and professional education through lectures, media interviews, and the Ask Dr Hammad patient education channels (TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn in English and Arabic).
